My name is Norman and I live in western NY state.  My better half is Karen and she used to live in Manchester England.

A long long time ago we met on an internet chat site.  Who first spoke to whom and what was said is still a matter of debate but we both agree that we are happy it happened.  With such a great distance between us we thought we would just be friends.

It was Karen's dream to visit Mickey's Orlando hideout.  This place really does make dreams come true!
When I visited her in England she saved my life from a speeding car whilst (that's how they say "while" in England) I was crossing the street.  They drive on the other side of the road and I was looking the wrong way!  Can you tell that I've already learned not to say "wrong side of the road?"  "I knew at that very moment I would take care of you for the rest of my life" Karen would later recount to me.

I fell in love with her shortly after meeting her at the airport terminal.  I knew in my heart and mind that she was the one for me.  We are now making wedding plans.

In March '01 Karen took the long flight and visited me.  While here she saw the wonders of Niagara Falls, then we drove the 1400 miles (one way) to Orlando FL to visit Mickey's and his friends.  At the upper left is a picture of Karen standing in front of Mickey's place.  Karen is the one facing the camera.  This is one of Karen's dreams come true (and mine too but I'm not telling anyone).
